The leading showcase for domestic technological innovation will be back in its sixth edition, bringing with it the most evolved and transformational built-in domestic appliances and cooker hoods. In pavilions 9-11, in synergy with EuroCucina, at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds from 8th to 13th April.
FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) was devised by some of the foremost sectoral manufacturers as a showcase for innovative built-in domestic appliances and cooker hoods, and a showpiece for research into domestic appliances of the future, complete with prototypes, and concepts. FTK – at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds from 8th to 13th April – has steadily become a benchmark event, as the presence of the many companies and groups at the forefront of the sector shows.
This year we are proud to announce that Turkey’s Arçelik (Beko) Group and the American Sub-Zero Group (SubZero, Wolf) will be with us for the first time.
With 9,800 square metres of dedicated space inside two of EuroCucina’s four pavilions, 9-11, FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) is in full synergy not just with the biennial exhibition devoted to kitchens but also with SaloneSatellite, which has also moved into the EuroCucina pavilions, 13-15. Both exhibitions are platforms for cutting edge built-in technology and emerging designers of the future – promoting novelty and innovation in line with all the Salone del Mobile exhibits.
Pavilions 9-11 are actually located immediately opposite those of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, particularly those devoted to state of the art design, creating an ideal visitor path through classic, modern and design concepts, and tastes of the products of the future, like the cutting edge built-in domestic appliances and cooker hoods.
The manufacturers will be showcasing exclusive product collections – ranging from fridges and freezers to cooking appliances and ventilation hoods – all primarily geared to improving the kitchen experience in spaces increasingly required to be more healthy, efficient and comfortable, and capable of generating memorable occasions and great emotions.
High technological performance makes for ease of operation and low energy consumption. Energy saving and respect for the environment are both prime concerns in the design of domestic appliances, as well as right along the production chain.
All the solutions are markedly design-oriented, offering consumers quality products that respond to all possible technical demands while remaining furnishing components in their own right. This means that domestic appliances have taken on new shapes, colours and materials, are light and compact, ergonomic and extremely appealing. Contemporary lifestyles and increasingly integrated domestic spaces call for multipurpose solutions guaranteeing maximum flexibility when it comes to space arrangement.
