The small armchair Gemma by B-LINE awarded with the Good Design Award

B-LINE wins the Good Design Award, the prestigious prize assigned by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, with Gemma.

Gemma is a small armchair in polyethylene, whose shape recalls that of a precious stone. Designed by the polyhedric designer Karim Rashid, this seating lends itself equally to both indoor and outdoor use and is characterised by geometric though sinous lines.

Colours are the focus of B-LINE’s production, which was born with the aim of getting the furnishing items placed in an ironic, warm and original way. Gemma is therefore available in coral red, pastel green, Hollywood fuchsia, white and black.

The jury of the Good Design Award, composed by professionals from the design field, selected Gemma on the basis of innovation, shape, materials, construction, concept, functionality, utility, sustainability and of course design criteria.

This success will further strengthen the corporate image of B-LINE, a company which is increasingly becoming internationally well-known and appreciated.
