A meeting brought together Maurizio Riva and Oscar Farinetti who wanted Riva 1920 products for Alice, the gourmet restaurant inside the new Eataly in Milan, using the historical seat of the Smeraldo Theatre.
The contract project included several pieces made out of Venetian marker post wood, tables, containers and a 12 meters long Kauri wood table.
A custom-made solution provided for a welcoming area, cloakroom and sanitary facilities.
The timeless elegance of the two types of wood used for the furniture, the oak of the marker posts and the ancient Kauri wood, offer the space a sophisticated note that enhances this marriage of design and food.
Passion, enthusiasm, quality, excellence, capacity to thrill and be thrilled – these are the values that underpin the collaboration with Eataly Smeraldo, an essay in solid wood furniture Made in Italy.
