This beautiful gem of the UNESCO World Heritage List covers an area of 800 hectares of land.
Gardens and Park of Versailles were created in the Baroque style – the French classical style of landscape design (“Le Jardin à la Française” in French), which developed from the Italian and French Renaissance styles. The main feature of this elegant style is symmetry.
