As though under the effect of a magnifying glass, attention is focused on the detail of the material (whether it be wood, stone, ceramics or metal), and on the crevices, grooves and grain it is made up of. A point of view that once again shakes up our understanding of wallpaper, long accustomed to large scales and the distance of viewers. The focus tends to shift once again. It only takes a few metres to change perspective, to move from observing the very fine shapes with their remarkably natural effect, to assessing the emotional impact that transforms the surfaces into avant-garde design accessories.
INK LAB: the surface design workshop
Inkiostro Bianco’s research and experimentation continues. The company specialises in the production of continuous and decorative artistic and customisable surfaces. It is a brand, an ambitious project and a workshop of ideas applied to the design and production of decorative graphics, whose goal is to reinterpret the interior wall coverings for all surfaces. Pictorial art and digital graphics converge in the Inkiostro Bianco range to form original creations with a strong personality. This results in exciting canvases that transform surfaces into avant-garde design accessories.
All phases of production are carried out internally: from the creation of graphics, conceived by a network of designers and artists, to the printing of paper using advanced digital technologies. All the projects are characterized by their ability to be customized.
