After the successful launch on the domestic market, kitchen PIA of the Croatian company Inkea was presented at the international furniture fair IMM in Cologne under the LivingKitchen segment, which runs from 20th to 26th of January 2015.
As an introduction to the exhibition, PIA was declared a winner of the prominent European plaques, the Interior Innovation Award – Winner 2015, awarded by the German Design Council. This award is of the highest degree and emphasizes the first-class achievements in all aspects of interior design, sets standards for reliable differentiation of companies in the market, and serves as a guide for customers in choosing the best partners. PIA was presented to the world in the selection of the best designed products in the central area of the fair and on 18th of January 2015 it was awarded the prize “Best of the best”. This prestigious award was awarded to additional 14 products.
The high prestige of the German Design Council is a reflection of the professionalism and objectivity of expertise in design, promotion of market-oriented innovation and recognized merit to affirm and prove the view that design is of one of the critical factors of economic development in German society.
PIA is an innovative concept of a kitchen for small spaces. All the facilities of a classic kitchen of 3.6 meters in size are located in only 1,5 m2. In addition to common household appliances PIA also has a TV integrated into a door. In fact, this kitchen turns into a closet in two steps. It is aimed at young ‘career builders’ as their first choice in their first apartment, and was conceived as indispensable equipment in prestigious apartments in which guests not only enjoy nature but also the harmony of modern interiors.
