Discover the interior designer’s ideas for decorating a colorful and joyful Easter table.
Easter is a spring holiday, so Easter decorations reflect the variety of colors that Nature gives us at the time of her blooming. Yellow, green, blue, red, purple, as well as many other colors, bring joy into the interior.
Festive family gatherings are a great time to decorate all the places for socializing. Mix and match colors, patterns, and styles (tablecloths, dishes, napkins, flower arrangements, baskets with Easter egg-shaped decorations).
Easter Flower Decorations
Fresh flowers are an important part of the spring atmosphere. Tulips, daffodils, roses, orchids, lilies are welcome ingredients in any design scheme. Arrange monochromatic or multicolored floral arrangements that will adorn the central part of the dining table.
A bouquet of yellow roses brings optimism since it reminds us of the Sun. Tulips, while closed, look a bit like eggs, which makes them an interesting addition to the Easter table. If you place them in a wicker basket, the resemblance to eggs becomes even more visible.
Violets or wildflowers in the eggshell-shaped vase are attractive decorations. Baskets containing decorative wooden or ceramic eggs will be even more colorful if their handles are ornamented with flowers made of paper.
Color Palettes for Easter Table
The colors of tablecloths, napkins, and tableware should be complemented by the colors of flowers. For example, neutral tones of dishes and fabrics can be refreshed by the colorful bouquet of tulips.
Purple tablecloth, white dishes, and yellow flowers, also make an appealing combination. Blue tablecloth, white napkins, earthy colors of pottery, and Easter eggs in wicker baskets – create the Mediterranean scheme.
Chickens, bunnies, and colorful Easter eggs (made of wood and other materials) are the essence of Easter decor. Set them as an addition to floral arrangements or independent decoration – in baskets, on artificial grass, or on a similar surface.
For instance, a decorative gift for each guest can be a basket you’ve made of thin cardboard or a plastic cup, or a crocheted basket, filled with chocolate bunnies and eggs and decorated with tiny flowers and ribbons.
Of course, the most beautiful ornament is the smile of family members and friends who spend the holidays in a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere.
