“Summertime and the livin’ is easy” – says the famous song. Of course, though perhaps not all is as easy as the song’s lyrics suggest, one thing is for sure – summer days with plenty of sunshine often bring optimism. Check out my selection of motivational summer quotes and sayings.
This cheerful outlook on life has permeated our society, which can be seen in our behavior, clothes, interior design & decorating, etc.
Summer fashion brings glitter, playful designs, refreshing colors, lightweight fabrics, colorful patterns. In a similarly creative way, you can turn the indoor and outdoor of your house or apartment into a decorative summer oasis.
Sofas and chairs, upholstered with warm fabrics ideal for cold winter days, can be cooled down during hot summer days. The way to do that is by covering them with cotton slipcovers and cushions, which are much more pleasant to sit on during the summer heat.
Decorating with Summer Color Palette and Natural Fabrics
Cool neutrals and bright pastel colors create a refreshing summer interior decor.
Natural fabrics, monochrome or multi-colored, make the ideal bedding, slipcovers, tablecloths, curtains, etc. Their lightness brings a lighter feel to the interior. To find out more about decorating with fabric, read these designer tips.
Arrange the seating so that all who sit have the opportunity to look outside, towards the balcony or windows, especially if there is a beach view.

If you want your indoor living room or dining room to resemble a terrace, in addition to plants, the design of these representative spaces should also include outdoor furniture made of teak, bamboo, rattan, wrought iron, and other materials; decorated with colorful cushions. On the other hand, if you are designing your outdoor dining or living room, here are some creative design ideas.
Scents are also an important part of the summer atmosphere. Enjoy the fragrant experiences of the sea, lavender, rosemary, citrus fruits, pine, mango, papaya – feel the summer with all your senses.
