Recognized and accepted as a global premiere exhibition of ceramics, sanitary ware and bathroom furniture, Cersaie was once again the meeting point of 872 exhibitors from 39 countries with customers, distributors, architects, designers and all other fans of interior decoration. From 28 September to 2 October more than 100 thousand visitors enjoyed in the view at the novelties that were presented by the most significant names of the ceramic industry, revealing the upcoming trends and the direction the industry is heading.
Keramika Modus from Orahovica was again the only exhibitor from Croatia and attention of loyal customers, as well as the many visitors and new potential partners, was attracted with exhibition space inspired by the past and with presented collections of ceramic tiles… created for the future!
Even 11 new collections are ‘telling the story’ about company and brand step forward; in design, dimension and a wide range of decors and borders, that cover every taste and style of interior decoration and round off the range of floor and wall tiles in Keramika Modus assortment. Croatian manufacturer has presented most of their collections in the dimension 20×50 cm and 25×60 cm for wall and 40×40 cm, as a new format for the floor. In line with the trends and pulse of the market the plans for the future include introduction of even larger tiles and gres – tiles for exterior lining.
Investments in technology and modernization of production allow opening of new markets and adjustment to the needs of customers
Constant of ceramic industry are tiles that accurately imitate wood, concrete, marble, sand, stone, cement… in color, design and structure. What enhances any collection of base tiles are decors and Keramika Modus focus is placed on that part of the assortment.
“And after this edition of the fair satisfaction is on our side, because, primarily due to the presented collections of tiles, as well as the new location of the stand and the concept of presentation, we have received positive feedback from our old customers, and open up some negotiations for entry into new markets. Realistically, improving the production process and technology investments, including the new third firing line for decorating tiles, even in this preliminary step into new markets gives the right boost for results. More than anything else it says a lot about our real possibilities to cover the needs and tastes of consumers adjusting to various markets where we are present; from Bosnia and Herzegovina, through France, or Russia and for us exotic markets, such as African or Arab, where we see and have our export opportunities”, said Željko Radek, CEO at Keramika Modus.
The beauty of ceramic tile is primarily in the fact that it can imitate almost any natural or artificial material – old new trend from Cersaie 2015. In addition of course, maxi size – 3.6×1.6 m presented as the largest dimension of this year’s fair!
Cersaie 2015 confirmed some of the existing global trends in design of ceramic tiles. „With photo-realistic design, the emphasis is on the final result: dimension of tile, 3D relief and ending effects. The tile replaces natural materials, both visual and tactile, and the final value of a top-notch is a presentation of the lifestyle that is representing. In the fierce competition the most convincing wins! Hexagon appears in all sizes and color combinations, textures and patterns, often in metallic design or the antique effects”, said Katica Petkov, director of marketing and development at Keramika Modus, and added that the mosaics are represented in each of the trends, cement occurs in all shades and designs, as the basis of industrial style and all types of stone are still imperative in the design. Wood is one special story, Petkov said: “It occurs in two extremes, or as perfectly smooth, or as rustic. Often is combined with marble for elegance or with cotto for achieving warm atmosphere.”
