The Third Zagreb Design Week (#tdzg2016) will be sponsored by the Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, Zagreb Tourist Board and Croatian Chamber of Economy, and will be held on more than 4.000 m² in the House for people and art “Lauba” and adjacent building “Hauba”. The partner region of #tdzg2016 will be Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden whose designers will participate in #tdzg Nordic design exhibition, presenting innovative products and attracting the attention of domestic design lovers, and exchanging experiences with them.

“In the world of design, we turn to everyday life as a source of creativity. The world around us gives us inspiration and ideas to cherish and improve. The design in our countries is minimalist, with clean simple lines, and at the same time very functional design that contains only the essential elements. Design that you will see in this exhibition in many ways reflects our society – it is innovative, functional, practical and, although it can feel a certain Nordic spirit, has a lot that highlights the peculiarities of each country “- was stated in a letter of the Nordic ambassadors in the Republic of Croatia.
