The design takes inspiration from the past to give a modern interpretation of one of the most iconic bathroom furnishing pieces of the early 20th century. The undisputed star of the collection is ceramic. Cielo’s extraordinary skill in working with ceramic turns it into an innovative, original design that uses contemporary style to convey the beauty of the past.

Made with the finest Italian materials, the Catino collection is highly customizable, in three versions: round, oval and double. Available with or without faucet holes, these ceramic washbasins fit beautifully with elegant steel bases in matte black or brushed bronze finishes, with convenient ceramic tops or practical wood drawers.

Both the washbasins and ceramic tops can be customized with the 16 colors of the unique “Terre di Cielo” line, made up of colors and textures inspired by nature: Talcum, Pumice, Frost, Sandstone, Basalt, Cacao, Moss, Agave, Flax, Oat, Concrete, Mud, Slate, Hemp, Cipria, and Polvere.

The collection is completed by two spacious cabinet mirrors — round and oval — equipped with internal shelves and a black lacquered wood frame, plus a number of components such as towel racks and bathroom accessory holders available in a variety of finishes (dispenser holder, soap holder, single roll holder, shelf holder, and a combined version with cup holder and soap holder in one).

Catino matches elegance and functionality, perfect for both residential and contract spaces, embodying Cielo’s strategy founded on manufacturing excellence and the value of being handmade in Italy.
