In the past few years 3LHD, the architecture and urban planning studio from Croatia, has been working on something new – 3LHD products. This design venture has resulted in Umomoku – a collection of designer outdoor furniture presented at the Orgatec fair in Cologne, Germany.
Umomoku is an unobtrusive and simply designed line of comfortable outdoor furniture intended for lounging. It was originally conceived for Mulini Beach in Rovinj, Istria, a very popular travel destination in Croatia, and subsequently redesigned for sales in furniture stores.
The furniture construction consists of broad and narrow wooden slats of a square cross-section that create a recognizable graphism in the design. The details of wooden joints create a seamless line. Rich, sumptuous cushions create the visual identity of the entire furniture collection.
Modular nature of the Umomoku furniture collection allows the users to combine multiple elements according to need, but also their individual use, both in the exterior and interior. This designer outdoor furniture collection consists of an armchair, sofa, coffee table, bench, deck chair, and a tray. The deck chair has a mechanism that allows both ends to be adjusted for maximal comfort.
Umomoku was presented at the Orgatec trade fair in Cologne. The furniture construction is made of solid wood with a protective oil finish. It is produced and distributed by Prostoria, and available in teak and iroko wood, and a selection of cushion fabric colors.
