The uniqueness and individuality of the interior have been among the top design and decorating trends for years, creating very colorful and eclectic homes, offices, hotels, holiday apartments, restaurants, cafes, and shops. Open floor plan layouts are trending as well as multi-functional furniture pieces. To make the indoor and outdoor space as dynamic as possible, designers create playful forms of sofas and coffee tables, dining tables and chairs, lighting fixtures, screens, and room dividers, storage furniture, shelves and bookcases, decorative accessories. Emphasis is also on the textures of furniture fronts as well as the natural motifs of the wallpaper and decorative fabrics.

When decorating living rooms and dining rooms, it’s trendy to mix and match pieces of furniture of different design styles, colors, materials, shapes, and sizes. For example, all the chairs in the dining room should be different. Likewise, seating sets can be made up of armchairs and two-seater sofas that are opposite in style or color.

Speaking of popular decorative styles throughout the home, the return to the mid-twentieth century modern has been trending for years, especially in furniture design, as well as the design items reminiscing of the seventies and a designer journey to the 20ies and 30ies of the twentieth century – Bauhaus inspiration, Art Deco. Also, there are the colorful ethnic patterns that inspire designers of decorative fabrics and interior accessories.

On the other hand, light and bright minimalist interior design and Scandinavian style are as trendy as ever. And of course, the more greenery the better. The same applies to wood and other natural materials.

The “Indoor Meets Outdoor” trend has been present for several years, as is the encounter of natural and artificial materials in combination with the wide choice of shapes and dimensions.

As for lighting fixtures, they range from the simplest to the most luxurious.
