Saint -Tropez – Famous French Tourist Destination
World-famous travel destination of the sunny French Riviera (Côte d’Azur) and scented Provence, charming Saint -Tropez is a legendary Mediterranean port with a vibrant, sunlit landscape that inspired famous painters such as Henri Matisse and Paul Signac. A mythical village cherished by lovers of nature, shopping (this tourist resort is also known as the capital of shopping in Provence), gastronomy and partying, this French joie de vivre way of life alters among relaxation, authenticity, luxury, and traditions. The Hôtel de Paris – Saint-Tropez is a must-see, legendary hotel from the 1960-s, reborn after being completely redesigned.
The Hôtel de Paris – Saint-Tropez
Interior designer Sybille de Margerie has created a luxurious, contemporary hospitality interior with rich designs, mixing vibrant colors and neutral color palette, with graphic lines and natural materials.
Audacious, spectacular, the spirit of this chic place is unique and immerses the stylish traveler in an experience of its own: an exquisite getaway in the heart of St. Tropez, the glittering gem of the French Riviera.
Guest Rooms and Suites
Inspired by the design styles of the 60-s and 70-s – the Yéyés years – the interiors reveal an amusing, colorful world. The walls are decorated with wide geometric stripes in orange, mauve, blue and brown colors, while the contemporary furniture in a white-toned varnish is complimented by warm wood and cool stone flooring. Views reveal the charming village streets or terracotta-tiled roofs, characteristic for the Mediterranean countries. Some guest rooms are extended by a beautiful terrace overlooking the landscaped courtyard.
Culinary Art for Food Lovers
The Gourmet Restaurant Le Pationata
Interwoven wicker lines the walls and ceilings of this gourmet restaurant, contrasted by a black granite floor. A refreshing wine cellar, which offers exquisite tastings, is surrounded by metallic chandeliers and lemon-yellow curtains with geometric patterns. A deliciously-styled place to start the day with a buffet or à la carte breakfast; offers a menu with Mediterranean accents, with homemade and local products. A landscaped patio extends the restaurant and creates a stylish place to enjoy a gourmet breakfast.
The Atrium Bar (L’Atrium) in the Lobby
Subtle experimentation and mixology at Bar Atrium provide a wonderful variety of delicious and original cocktails that can be enjoyed in a cosmopolitan atmosphere, sitting in the cozy armchairs near the library or out on the sunny terrace of this contemporary-designed bar.
A suggestion for traditionalists, indulge yourselves with a rare vintage wine or Champagne.
Unique décor: photos of a famous French actress Brigitte Bardot decorate the walls. Huge art sculptures in black ebony resin, by Laurence Bonnel, pose on the grey marble floor.
The ceiling is adorned in a thousand white rosettes and displays a grand chandelier. The chandelier mimics a school of fish, suspended in metal sheets, but above all, the glass pool with a transparent floor rises to fifteen meters above ground level.
The Hotel Rooftop
Les Toits Restaurant and Les Toits Lounge Bar on the roof of the hotel look over the houses and warmly lit windows of the village, creating a great setting for a sunny lunch or romantic dinner under the stars with one of the most beautiful views of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
Artistic cuisine with Mediterranean flavors, signature cocktails mixed by the head bartender and Champagne can be enjoyed here in a calming atmosphere.
Magnificent Swimming Pool
What a surprise to stroll through the lobby and the atrium when suddenly the light captures your gaze. Above your head, the swimming pool is suspended more than fifteen meters from the ground and with a transparent floor, dappled sunlight and glimpses of the bathers shine through. A unique union of design and technology, the work is assembled like a puzzle. It is made of glass and metal and it is also the first time that such a swimming pool has been created in this innovative way.
