Enjoy pink wines and extra virgin olive oil – in Zagreb, Croatia
The 8th Pink Day – International Festival of Pink Wines, Sparkling Wines and Champagnes will take place on the 28th of June 2020, if circumstances allow it, traditionally, in the beautiful interior space of the Mimara Museum in Zagreb, Croatia.
Although already a month before the scheduled date of the Festival (21st of March), the exhibition space was fully filled – gathering together many local and foreign exhibitors, producers of pink wines and masterclasses and meetings of professionals, experts, and lovers of Rosé wine were organized, the event is postponed following the unexpected circumstances in Europe. Likewise, the festival in the festival – Green in Pink – with the best Croatian producers of extra virgin olive oil.
Masterclass – The World of Pink Champagne Groups Powered by Visa Premium, has been sold out in just a few days and in the new term will also be held under the guidance of a top expert from the Moët Hennessy group. Workshop Pink Austria powered by Austrian Wines, dedicated to Austrian rosés and workshop dedicated to extra virgin olive oils, Istria: Queen of Olive Oil Powered by Catering Lisak, will also be held in the new term of the Festival.
Previous Year’s WOW Corner
“As much as I was looking forward to seeing that the exhibiting places of this Pink Day edition were filled more than a month before the Festival, I’m so sorry now that we will not be hanging out on the first day of spring. We are a festival that looks the world through pink glasses, so I honestly believed that with all precautions we could realize, we finally made – I believe – a reasonable decision to postpone the Festival for a better and healthier time. Every year the Festival brings some news and prepares interesting workshops: we put a lot of effort into everything and try, sometimes, it seems to me and succeed, to achieve the impossible: To entertain, teach, cheer up and celebrate pink wines in a pink mood. And we don’t forget the health and extra virgin olive oils. I thank the media who are faithfully following us and to all who experience Pink Day as I imagined it: as a festival of optimism and enjoyment.” said Sanja Muzaferija, WOW (Women On Wine) Association president and organizer of the Pink Day Festival, and added “We are announcing this favorite wine event for 28th June 2020. In addition to hanging out with winemakers and olive growers, it will also mark the entertainment program, awards, and top workshops and numerous surprises. This year, Pink Day has also arranged for the first time the partner country – Austria, so we hope that it will accompany us as a partner in a new term.”

Previous year’s Pink Day was marked by the award for the most creative table, which delighted the presenters so it continues this year. Last year’s prize, pink Jimmy Choo shoes, was won by Italian winery Bottega, and this year there will be as many as three awards for the most creative table. It will be again pink Jimmy Choo shoes – this time the $1,000 worth Smokey model, the artwork “DESIDERIO N°1 ART MUST BE TASTED” by Austrian artist Andrew Stix, made specifically for Pink Day and a set of Nikel Privé cosmetics by the cosmetic creator Mirjana Brlecic.

“We will also underline the pink theme in WOW corner, which, thanks to Kras as a partner, will become a kind of chocolate lounge bar where visitors will be able to take a break from wine and enjoy the pink Ruby chocolate. Last year’s Pink Day was marked by the award for the most creative table, so we will continue with this practice in the future.”, Sanja Muzaferija said at the press conference in Mimara Museum.
