In a seamless harmony with nature, this Star Island, Miami Beach estate conveys the essence of modernity through smooth edges and sculptural forms. It is a total unity within its design through the harmony of nature, inside and out.
Located on the Sunset Islands, this contemporary estate captures the spirit of its tropical environment. Sculptural native Sabal palms frame the entrance, while lush tropical plantings soften the modern architecture. The property features a unique garden oasis created by beautiful palms and an assortment of large leaf philodendrons. Leaning Coconut palms frame the waterway and allow for privacy on the upper levels.
Influenced by its tropical surrounding environment, this exquisite dwelling appears to have sprouted from the grounds designed by landscape architect Chris Cawley to enhance the contemporary tropical feel.
The Essence of Organic Modern Architecture
Inspired by sculptural form, without hard edges, this extraordinary home embodies the essence of organic modern architecture. Interior designers Charlotte Dunagan and Thomas Diverio, along with architects Francisco Llado Neuffer and Rob Moehring, are part of the design team Miami developer Todd Michael Glaser assembled to create this modern marvel placed at the water’s edge on Star Island, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Miami Beach.
As you arrive at the entry hall, there is an interior atrium featuring a specimen flowering tree and tropical plantings and offers numerous vistas to the upper-level rooftop gardens.
The landscape flows from the ground level to a series of raised gardens that are completely integrated with the home’s architecture. Towering canopy trees and an abundance of tropical plantings accentuate the property.
Waterfront Property with the Views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami’s Skyline
This family property boasts 250 feet of waterfront views. The second-floor master suite provides a luxurious retreat for the homeowners with a private plunge pool and patio. Sliding pocket doors open to a sunken balcony surrounded by greenery.
Set amid breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami’s skyline, this master bath exudes spa-like elegance styled in Calacatta marble slabs. Through large steam-shower doors, a deep soaking tub overlooks a plunge pool that integrates with the main pool.
The ultimate hangout is this main-floor loggia which is generously furnished with comfortably cushioned outdoor seating that overlooks the mosaic glass-tiled pool. The cabana is surrounded by water and has direct access to the pool plus a beach entrance.
At the back of the main residence along with its Mediterranean-style guest house, a massive pool area features floating daybeds and a metal-slatted cabana. Featuring potted plants on the patio and the balcony.
The interiors and exteriors share the same design aesthetic, an organic vibe, where “simplicity is beauty.” A modernist sensibility that connects to a serene tropical landscape.
