Orma – Washbasin That Creates a Seductive Interplay of Light
The Atelier project stems from the stylistic research conducted by an in-house Glass Design team focusing on the world of fashion. The colors, shapes, and textures analyzed draw inspiration from the fashion and design trends of the moment, thus creating bathroom objects with a glamorous and captivating allure.
Orma is the countertop washbasin fashioned from glass through a very particular artisanal process. The artistic result is a series of irregular pentagonal engravings in low-relief. The contrast between the inner part of the washbasin, featuring shiny and smooth decoration, and the satin and multifaceted exterior gives rise to a particularly seductive interplay of light which ensures the washbasin becomes the focal point of bathroom design. Proposed in 4 different textures: demi matt, matt gold, matt silver, and matt bronze.
Aquarama, Kalice, and Khorus – Freestanding Washbasins by Vincenzo Missanelli
Vincenzo Missanelli, the Italian Industrial Designer, once again showcases his creative interpretation of Vetrofreddo® material. He designed a new generation of freestanding washbasins for the Italian brand Glass Design. Three completely different shapes and styles of washbasins for a stylish visual impact in the bathroom.
The choice of Vetrofreddo®, an innovative material composed of glass pigments and resins, allows for unhindered creativity thanks to its sheer versatility. This inventive material is adaptable to any form and is available in multiple colorways, both glossy and matt.
In translation, “Cold Glass” material, patented by Glass Design, has given rise to Aquarama, Kalice, and Khorus. A trio of captivating floor-standing washbasin designs that go well with many styles – from contemporary and minimal to modern-classic and opulent.
Aquarama – the Two-Tone Illusion of a Monochromatic Washbasin
Floor-standing washbasin embodying a technical design that highlights its architectural aesthetic: the deep vertical grooves emphasize a chiaro/scuro (light/dark) effect which creates a two-tone illusion despite it being monochromatic in nature.
Equipped with a floor-waste, Aquarama comes in matt black and matt white as well as a selection of metallic finishes (matt gold, matt dark inox, and matt bronze), all with harmonizing wastes.
Kalice Washbasin – Inspired by a Champagne Coupe
Kalice is a freestanding glamourous washbasin since its form is inspired by a crystal goblet, in particular a champagne coupe. An original design, simultaneously sinuous, asymmetrical, and flowing, makes Kalice a charming addition to the bathroom style. Equipped with a floor-waste, it comes in matt or glossy black or white as well as gold and silver-leaf luxury versions.
Khorus Washbasin – Soft Contours and a Clean Contemporary Design
Characterized by soft contours and a clean contemporary design, the silhouette of Khorus makes it beautiful and practical. Created with an elegantly molded tap/accessories area that sits neatly beneath the rim, the Khorus washbasin is equipped with a back-waste and comes in matt or glossy black or white in addition to gold and silver-leaf luxury versions.
