* LivingInteriors to be held parallel to the imm cologne again
* Trade fair format shows scenographies of interior worlds
From 13 to 19 January 2014, LivingInteriors will be opening its doors in Cologne for the second time. Together with the imm cologne, LivingInteriors will be painting a comprehensive and innovatively presented picture of the entire world of interiors. The focus will be on bathrooms, floors, walls and lighting. The motto of the event-oriented trade show format: DESIGN. DECORATE. LIVE. In their lively, varied and interactive presentations, national and international exhibitors will be showing holistically staged living and interior concepts that are guaranteed to whet visitors’ appetite for furnishing their homes.
LivingInteriors alternates with LivingKitchen, which takes place in odd years, and will be allocated the same areas occupied by the kitchen event. In total, approx. 1,000 exhibitors and 120,000 visitors are expected to attend the imm cologne and LivingInteriors.
LivingInteriors was first held in Cologne in January 2012, with around 120 exhibitors attending the show in Hall 4.2. Together with the imm cologne, LivingInteriors 2014 will enable visitors to experience live how the atmosphere is changing in terms of colours, forms and materials – and how the bathroom is turning into a wellness oasis.
With the concept, Koelnmesse is not only consistently pursuing its policy of expanding its interior fairs, it is also underscoring its position as the world’s No. 1 for furniture, interiors and design.
The LivingInteriors concept is based on three pillars. The first of them stands for the topics bathrooms, floors, walls and lighting and aims to create sales momentum, generate business and develop new distribution channels. The second pillar is the event’s relevance for the public, which is directly linked with the third pillar of creating a broad-based and sustained presence in the media.
The combination of business and event is particularly apparent from the event areas that are integrated with the exhibition. These installations offer visitors relaxation, fascination, experiences and inspiration all at once. An extensive supporting programme with lectures and work reports will put the finishing touches to the LivingKitchen experience. Experts from the various product categories will be shedding light on the latest trends and innovations in interior architecture and providing architects and designers with fresh impetus.
The next dual exhibitionimm cologne // LivingInteriors will take place from:
