Design project by Antonia Astori

Fifteen years after the original project, Antonia Astori has intervened on the renovation of this Milan apartment, in the Brera district. The new creative project is marked by strong rationality and based on new values especially born from the need to design furniture meant to be placed in strategic points and create a “living landscape”.
This new layout creates some paths which enliven, in a totally creative way, the traditional structure corridor/rooms. The entrance, which also serves as a studio, opens, on its right side, on a large dining room with glass walls and on its left side, on the most private and intimate part of the house, with the living room, the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the bathrooms. The first part of the corridor is a continuous succession of interconnecting spaces, highlighted by sliding doors.
