MATERIA, the shower sets free innovative aesthetic contaminations

Creativity, technique and experimentation, a fusion among fashion, design and green mood, here are the guidelines that led to Materia, the new separè shower cabin created by the Megius Italian know- how, which starts stylistic and textural original paths in the shower scenario. The leitmotif of this project is the combination of aluminium profiles with other materials that are already used in the bathroom area, such as wood, in order to create an harmonious combination, a true “furniture shower”. With a 6mm glass panel and available in a wall separè, corner separè and niche separè version, the shower cabin Materia stands out for its aesthetic impact, celebrating, as the name suggests itself, the meeting point of different materials, natural or manufactured with composite minerals, with aluminum, synonymous with technical and reliability.

In this shower solution, then, unexplored matches of materials stylistically contaminate the glass panel: indeed, not only profiles but also the horizontal supporting bars will push over their ordinary structural function to embrace all the glasses, thus becoming one of the most important characteristic of this cabinet shower.

At Cersaie, Megius will present the first material blends: wood & aluminium and minX & aluminium, while other surprising contamination are being considered for next year. On the one hand the wood, a noble material which has always been synonymous with warmth, life and charm, brings back in the bathroom the natural environments research of oneself intimacy.
