NATEVO the new FLOU brand furnishes three show-appartments in the Residential blocks designed by ZAHA HADID in Milan’s CITY LIFE district

Collaboration between CITY LIFE and NATEVO defined an innovative solution to furnish three show apartments in residential blocks designed by ZAHA HADID – there are no lamps, chandeliers or other illumination systems installed; the lighting  will be supplied exclusively by the Led lights integrated in the pieces of furniture of the new NATEVO brand.

If this innovative and revolutionary decision is successful, it will lead  to economic and ecological benefits in the construction of new buildings and in the restructuring of existing buildings. In actual fact, for installation or modification of the electrical plant, it will no longer be necessary to plan the position of electricity points on the walls or create apertures in the masonry; simply change  the piece of furniture or the arrangement of the existing pieces, and this will lead to a considerable reduction in energy consumption.

NATEVO commissioned three very different architecture studios with the task of furnishing the three show- apartments. Each one injected its own design language to produce solutions that exalt and maximize the excellent properties of the NATEVO furniture

• Apartment no.1 was designed by the Milanese architect MATTEO  NUNZIATI, internationally renowned for his consolidated experience in luxury hotels, wellness and Spa centers and private residential properties oozing with contemporary elegance – the common features in his designs are beauty, elegance and exclusiveness.

• Apartment no.2 was assigned to STUDIO VISCIDO from Salerno; it was selected because of its extraordinary readiness to accept change and its audacious versatility in the designs for eco-compatible and eco-sustainable projects, in perfect symbiosis with its discerning clients ‘who cultivate dreams and yearn for passion’.

• The design of Apartment no.3 was commissioned to TONER ARCHITECTS, based in Istanbul, Turkey. This group of architects exalts the feeling of space and the use of light as an art form. Its style is expressed through a modern take on classic design and the skilful use of precious materials to create the décor of restaurants, residences, boutiques and luxury hotels.

The three apartments furnished with pieces from the NATEVO collection are found on different floors of the building: Apartment no.1 will be open to the public from November 19th 2013; Apartments no.2 and no.3 will be opened in the months prior to the 2014 edition of the Milan International Furniture Exhibition.

The residential blocks designed by Zaha Hadid in Milan’s CityLife district, in Via Senofonte 2 & 4, are the first units to be completed; these and the units designed by Daniel Libeskin, located in Via Spinola 8, will be occupied in the near future. The two residential facilities differ in terms of architectonic style but there is common ground with the high spec finish and the innovative ecology and safety solutions.
