Lea Ceramiche and Lago: the partnership continues in the first new bathroom catalogue

The partnership between Lea Ceramiche and Lago continues, finding new common forms of expression: LAGO Bathroom, the new system including a set of products dedicated exclusively to the bathroom.

Consistent with its DNA, aiming to focus attention and research not onto individual furnishing elements but rather on the whole interior design project, Lago explores the bathroom investigating all its components: from surfaces to materials, to furnishing complements, creating unique and highly original solutions.

Joined by the same vision of design, Lea Ceramiche was involved in the creation of floor and wall tiling that perfectly match the Lago furnishing complements. Reinterpreting one of the most traditional bathroom elements, the ceramic tile, and starting with Slimtech by Lea Ceramiche, one of the sector’s most innovate products, Lago offers its own personal interpretation of the ultrathin laminate stoneware slab (just 3.5mm thick), matching it with different furnishing systems to create unusual and surprising compositions.

For example, the modulo 36e8, initially created for the living system, is now applied also to the bathroom. The long slabs covering the floor continue aligned along the wall. The same pattern runs across the containers and the modularity of the project creates a harmonious, complementary feel to the whole room.

With a fresher, more fun appeal comes the Steel Basin system, where the laminate stoneware collection Slimtech by Lea Ceramiche is used in three different modules and three different colours: milk shade, shaded and coloured. Colour shades that fade across the walls to create a comfortable, almost padded atmosphere in the bathroom.

With a more rigorous, cleaner line comes the Depth Basin system collection: Slimtech designs the space, the floor perfectly matches the wall modules to create a graphic sign with the coloured grout. The final effect is surprising: a white box divided by a geometric grid split by coloured lines, creating a high-impact yet unassuming geometric game.

Finally, the fun and ironic floor collection 36e8 Drunk: the project includes modules measuring 18.4×18.4 and a decoration comprising 25 pieces creating a relief effect, alienating optical illusions that perfectly match the Lago Inbilico Basin system.

The ultra-light Slimtech slab by Lea Ceramiche is also used in the Depth Basin system to coat the basin included in the range: the thin porcelain laminate slab acts as a second skin, completely covering the basin, repeating the coloured line that runs across the floor and the wall. An application that narrates all the innovative features of Slimtech: easy to cut and lay, ecological, resistant to stains and wear, easy to clean, making it the ideal covering for the bathroom thanks to both its functionality, design and appearance.

Slimtech by Lea Ceramiche is produced in partnership with Lago and is available for sale in LAGOStores around the world.
